Our Story
In 1982, Project Warm was created through the financial support of LG&E and Metro Louisville. Thanks to the generosity of LG&E and Metro Louisville, Project Warm has been able to improve our community, the environment and the lives of people we serve through free weatherization services and educational workshops for low-income residents, veterans and people with disabilities.
LG&E and Metro Louisville have continued to invest in Project Warm because of the social, economic, and environmental impact we continue to achieve.
Each year, our organization continues to grow and expand in new and meaningful ways for the betterment of our community and surrounding counties.
Today, Project Warm continues to thrive in our social, economic, and environmental impact through the support of LG&E, Metro Louisville, Kentucky Colonels, and the Gheens Foundation. We would not be able to accomplish our work without their support for our mission.
