Blitz Volunteer (Annual Event)
Help your vulnerable community members this winter at Project Warm’s 42nd annual Blitz event! All volunteers will receive a free breakfast and t-shirt. At this event, volunteers can choose to do one or both of the following:
- Travel solo on or in teams on Saturday, Nov. 2nd to drop off free weatherization kits to Jefferson Co. clients who can install the supplies themselves.
- Work in teams of 4-5 on Saturday, Nov. 9th to install interior window plastic for Jefferson Co. clients who are unable to do it themselves. For more information on this event, click HERE.
The 2024 Annual Blitz event will take place Saturday, November 2nd for kit drop off, and Saturday, November 9th for window plastic installation.
Blitz Qualifications: Our Blitz event works to serve Jefferson County residents who are 55 or older and/or have a disability.
The deadline to sign up for the Blitz is Tuesday, October 15th, 2024.
